About Courtney Shott

Seasoned television producer returns to deliver innovative conversations to the American people - reminding them that civility, discource, and empathy are at the heart of America's values.

Courtney spent the first part of her professional career as a White House Producer for Fox News Channel. During that time, she traveled with several administrations, both domestically and abroad, and was the go-to Producer for high profile interviews, including Presidents, Heads of State, and a wide variety of other Administration Officials.

Outside of the White House, Courtney served as the Package Producer assigned to Fox’s Chief Washington Correspondent. In addition to that role, Courtney spent time as a Senior Script Editor & Line Producer for a variety of FNC news shows, including Special Report.

After spending nearly 20 years in Washington D.C., Courtney and her family moved to Hermosa Beach. While in California, Courtney transitioned to volunteer work, albeit still engaged in the communications field. She has held Executive Board positions within a variety of organizations, including with the Hermosa Beach City Schools and National Charity League. Courtney was also a founding member of both the Hermosa Beach City School District’s Wellness Committee (focused on the mental health of our youth), as well as the South Bay Chapter of National League of Young Men.

Most recently, Courtney has been the Operations Manager for Beach Cities Sports Flag Football, a co-ed youth flag football league composed of more than 900 kids, 60 teams and 150 coaches. Courtney runs the day to day operations as well as plans and executes major league events. Recent BCS Super Bowls have taken place at locations like SoFi Stadium and the LA Coliseum.

The common thread running through these various chapters has been Courtney’s keen attention to detail and the naturally curious nature that she instinctively brings to all she does. Plus, she’s still a news junkie at heart. You can take the girl out of DC, but can’t take the DC out of the girl.

Courtney is the proud mom to two teenagers. Courtney’s husband is a fellow TV news producer. Two sweet pups round out their family.
